IMUPROS is produced in the Netherlands as a dietary supplement in accordance with international regulations. A special manufacturing process ensures that the individual active ingredients in the tablet do not chemically react with each other.
The individual active ingredients are packaged in different “time-release” sleeves and are released from the sleeve in the gastrointestinal tract at different times. This promotes the undisturbed absorption of the individual active substances into the blood and improves the so-called bioavailability.
Another advantage of the preparation is that a drastic reduction in daily tablet intake is possible. While the active ingredients listed above had to be taken daily in the form of 20-30 tablets or capsules of various individual preparations, a comparable amount of active ingredient is already well tolerated in about 3 IMUPROS ™ tablets per day.
The individual ingredients are as follows:
This fat-soluble vitamin has a preventive effect. The daily dose recommended today is around 400 to 1000 international units of so-called mixed tocopherols. IMUPROS delivers between 500 and 1000 international units of natural vitamin E in the recommended daily dose of 3-6 tablets.
We now know that reduced ultraviolet radiation reduces our body’s vitamin D synthesis from 7-dehydrocholesterol in the skin. This means that less vitamin D reaches the conversion organs, liver and kidney, where the active form of the vitamin, namely 1.25 dihydroxycholecalciferol, is produced. The result is that less active vitamin D is available.
This vitamin is known for its pronounced anti-oxidative features, which is best achieved when taken simultaneously with vitamin E. It is generally recommended to take around 1000 mg of vitamin C after eating to suppress peroxide formation from burning fat. It is also known that taking more than 500 mg of vitamin C per day can have a positive properties. IMURPOS in the recommended daily dose provides 750 mg of vitamin C for men who want to do prevention.
Calcium intake must be seen in connection with vitamin D. Very high calcium intake (> 2000 mg per day) reduces the conversion of vitamin D into the biologically active 1,25 dihydroxycholecalciferol. This could eliminate the preventive effects of vitamin D in the event of excessive calcium intake. However, there is agreement that most men take in too little calcium. The recommended daily amount is around 1000 mg for healthy men between 19-50 years. IMUPROS contains approximately 470 mg calcium in the recommended daily dose for men, which is far from the critical daily dose.
This trace element supports a whole range of immune functions. Zinc is necessary for the normal functioning of many enzymes, especially those that have an anti-oxidative feature. IMUPROS contains 50 mg zinc and ensures the necessary need for this trace element.
This mineral, like vitamin E, has a preventive features.
This is a vegetable estrogen, which occurs in a particularly high concentration in the soybean plant and has long been known for its anti-oxidative properties. IMUPROS delivers about 75mg of genistein per day, a little more than in the Asian diet.
This carotenoid (pigment which gives tomatoes their characteristic red color) has anti-oxidative properties. IMUPROS also provides 30 mg lycopene as a therapeutic dose. IMUPROS dosage is taken up about 15 mg lycopene per day.
This highly effective anti-oxidant is a member of the polyphenols (also known as catechins), which are obtained from green tea (Camellia sinensis). Epigallokatechin Gallate (EGKG) is the most important of four green tea catechins. EGKG inhibits the enzyme “urokinase”. Green tea consumption is widespread in Japan and China, but not very pronounced in Western European countries. IMUPROS provides 350 mg EGKG per day, which would correspond to about 30 cups of green tea.
