Who isn’t familiar with the stress of everyday life that keeps us constantly under pressure and makes it hard to relax? Our immune system reduces its activity completely unnoticed. However, once these very long polysaccharide molecules (especially from rice bran) are broken down into much smaller particles known as hemicelluloses – the most effective of which are known as arabinoxylan compounds – not only do their beneficial effects increase, but they also have a direct effect on the body’s immune system. With BioBran® MGN-3, Japanese researcher Hiroaki Maeda has developed an effective process that enables the body to absorb its components via the small intestine with the help of special enzymes from the shiitake mushroom.
