How were medpro's phytotherapeutics created?
The beginnings of the now internationally successful company were anything but easy. The mastermind behind the company based in the Netherlands is the renowned physician and scientist Prof. Dr. Dr. Ben L. Pfeifer. After his studies in Berlin, the cosmopolitan young physician moved to the USA. Here he quickly obtained a leading position in one of the best clinics in Kentucky. His path was actually mapped out. But even then he sensed that pure evidence-based conventional medicine often did not focus enough on the individual.
Despite his education, he was unable to prevent one of his family's hardest blows. At the age of only 46, his sister died. This drastic experience finally prompted Prof. Dr. Dr. Ben Pfeifer to search for alternative therapy methods than those known so far for cancer patients. With all his strength and knowledge, he tried after this event to use the hidden powers of plants for medical therapy. His long journey led him from the USA to Asia. Here he finally got to know promising alternative forms of therapy through Far Eastern doctors and scientists.
What effects can be achieved?
Prof. Pfeifer eventually developed special protocols for therapy with plant substances. While working with (tumor) patients, these protocols were refined over decades. In a long and laborious process, in 1999 the highly effective phytotherapeutics from medpro Holland B.V.. Today, they are also frequently used in oncology together with conventional medicine, as they show great results with particularly low side effects. While drugs are usually based on a molecule-based mechanism of action, phytopreparations unfold their effects on several levels at once due to the diversity of active ingredients.
