The different compounds of this plant-based product have multiple modes of action and benefits:

NPE® Green Tea extract
As a source of epigallocatechin gallate, the extracts from green tea (Camellia sinensis) are said to have many positive properties. The phytochemical epigallocatechin gallate is now known as a powerful antioxidant.

Pyrola rotundifolia extract (Round-leaved Wintergreen)
It is a plant from the subfamily of the wintergreen and monotropa hypopitys plants (Monotropoideae) in the heather family (Ericaceae). Its leaves are widely used in herbal practice.

Reishi extract (Ganoderma Lucidum)

Agrimonia pilosa extract (Agrimony)
The stem and leaves have various positive features. Extracts from the leaves of the plant are rich in vitamin K.

Corydalis yanhusuo extract
Extracts have been used for many centuries in traditional Chinese naturopathy. Naturopathy has shown that various parts of the plant can have a positive effect. In particular, the root extracts, contain various effective alkaloids (for instance, Bulbocapnin, Cordalin, Protopin).

Lycoris radiata extract (Red Spider Lily)
Extracts from the shrubs are often used as an antidote to poison in traditional Chinese
naturopathy. The effects of the extract of lycoris radiata is due to various alkaloids. Alkaloid-containing plants have been used by humans since ancient times for therapeutic purposes.

Patrinia heterophylla extract
Various triterpenes have been identified in Patrinia heterophylla as being the primary substances possessing positive effects. An additional substance called Isocoumarin glucoside is also extracted from Patrinia heterophylla and can exhibit cytotoxic activity.

Stephania delavayi extract
This plant has about 50 different alkaloids. These extracts from the tuberous roots are used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Stephania sinica extract
More than 150 alkaloids, flavorings, lignans, steroids, terpenoids, and coumarins have been isolated in the stephania sinica herb. Many of these substances have positive biological
activity. These Alkaloid-containing plants have been used by humans since ancient times for therapeutic purposes.

Rabdosia rubescens extract
The two most important properties of this fast-growing, terpenoid-rich labiate are oridonin and rubescensin A and B. Extracts made from the entire plant are used mainly in Chinese naturopathy.

Cistanche deserticola extract (Desert broomrape)
Desert broomrape (Chinese name: “Rou Cong Rong”) is an albino parasitic plant that has been used as a tonic in traditional Chinese and Japanese naturopathy for about 1800 years. Modern pharmacological research has shown that cistanche deserticola possesses a broad spectrum of biological properties. Especially, the so-called phenylethanoid glycoside, acteoside, echinacoside and cistanoside in cistanche deserticola seem to have health-promoting properties.

Zanthoxylum nitidum extract (Shiny-leaf prickly-ash)
Zanthoxylum nitidum is a flowering plant in the citrus family, which primarily grows in Southeast Asia and northern Australia. The Chinese name is “liang mian zhen”. Almost all zanthoxylum species are used in indian naturopathy.

Ginsenoside and saponin, the naturopathic properties in ginseng root, have only recently been used in Europe, although the naturopathy properties of the ginseng root have been long known primarily in China and other Asiatic countries.

Entolase® (bee pollen powder)
Bee pollen naturally contains many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it a valuable component in IMUSAN.

Liquiritiae radix extract (Liquorice)
Liquorice extracts contain various saponins of glycyrrhetic acids, which function as expectorants and mucolytic agents.

What research says

“Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and peripheral analgesic activities were observed for both the Agrimonia eupatoria infusion and/or its polyphenol-enriched fraction at nontoxic doses for the liver and the kidneys. The polyphenol-enriched fraction, essentially constituted by procyanidins and flavonoids, namely, quercetin, kaempferol, apigenin, and luteolin derivatives, was very active for all assays performed, leading to the conclusion that polyphenols have a very important role in these properties of Agrimonia eupatoria.”
